Mrs. Elizabeth Kent Spragg, widow of Henry M. Spragg, died at her home at Blacksville, W. Va., Sunday, October 5, aged 78 years, after a lingering illness. She was a daughter of the late John and Kezia Shields Kent, a life-long member of the Baptist church and was highly esteemed. Her husband died two years ago. Three sons and one daughter survive, McClelland C. (Maude) Spragg, of Daybrook, W. Va.; Simon T. (Sudie) Spragg, of Lone Pine; L. L. Spragg, of Brownsville, and Mrs. Norval R. (Harriet) Rogers, of Jefferson, also two sisters and one brother, Mrs Caleb Strosnider, of Spragg; Mrs. Martha Lemmons, of Waynesburg, and Hagan Kent, residing in the state of Washington.
