He was a graduate of Sylmar High School, Sylmar, California. He was killed in action in Vietnam while serving with the Marines.

He arrived in Vietnam 8 April 1967,and was assigned to H&S Company, 3rd Battalion,9th Marine Regiment,3rd Marine Division. He was killed by an explosive device during a convoy between the Rockpile and Cam Lo,Quang Tri Province,S Vietnam.

He served his country for one year. He was single.

He was survived by his mother, Margaret Quesada, a brother Edmond (11 years)and a sister Daphne (10 years old).
