Henry and his ancestors were among the many known as the "Germans from Russia." His parents were: Johann Peter and Mary Elizabeth (SCHLAGEL) WAGNER. Henry married Elizabeth KROMM in May 1882 in Pobochnaya, Saratov, Russia. His passenger arrival date in the U.S. at the port of Baltimore was 04 Jun 1890 (Wed); they sailed aboard the S.S. America.

HENRY WAGGONER [sic] DIES

Henry Waggoner [sic] passed away Saturday evening at the home of a son near Covington. He apparently [had] been in good health and was found dead. He lived northwest of Ringwood several years ago. He was the father of Mrs. Ula Harger. Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at the Brown Funeral home in Enid and burial was made in the Enid cemetery. Those from here who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ula Harger, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest [sic] Manning, Mrs. Gilbert Pletzer and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Stepp, Arthur and Marie.
