Henry O. M'Carty
Dies in Hospital
Henry O. McCarty, 50, rural route two, died early Monday afternoon in Pawating Hospital after being in poor health for some time. He was born Feb. 28, 1895 at Ash Grove, Mo.
He is survived by his widow, Rose, who he married in Miami, Fla., Oct. 5, 1942. She is a native of this area. Also surviving is a daughter, Betty Jane, at home; two brothers, Louis, of California, and James H., of Buchanan; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Tate, Kansas, and Mrs. Arlene Miksell, of Missouri.
Funeral Thursday
Services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday in Smith chapel. The Rev. Harold Mackey of the Edwardsburg Methodist church and Smith Chapel, will officiate. Burial will be in Smith Chapel cemetery. The body was taken taken this morning to the residence, rural route two.
