J.L.E Brantley, former Atlanta businessman, died Tuesday at his home in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He was 45 years of age.
Mr. Brantley was born in Atlanta and was district manager of Lever Brothers Company here. He was regional manager of Lever Brothers in Glen Ellyn at the time of his death.
Mr. Brantley was a charter member of the Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Spring Hill. The Rev. W. Arnold Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife (Eunice Pennington/Brantley); a daughter, Dawn Brantley, and a son, Jimmy Brantley; both of Glen Ellyn, and three sisters, Miss Thelma Brantley, and Mrs. Daniel Perteet, both of Atlanta, and Mrs. H. G.(should be H. D. - Homer Dock -married to Virginia) Williamson, Savannah, Georgia.
