Josephine Eads, 10 years old, daughter of Homer Eads, division superintendent of the L & G N railroad, died this morning at 4 o'clock, after an illness of two weeks with grippe and pneumonia. The death of the little girl is a sad blow to Mr. and Mrs. Eads and a large circle of friends. The child's sweet disposition endeared her to all who knew her. She was a pupil at the Thomas school. Besides her father, one sister and two brothers survive her. One of the brothers is now on the battleship South Dakota. The funeral will be held tomorrow. The little girl attended the Westminster Presbyterian church and Rev. B. I. Dickey, the pastor, will officiate. The pallbearers will be selected from among Mr. Eads intimate friends and interment will be in Anchor lodge cemetery, beside her mother. San Antonio Light, February 18, 1909
