Richard S. "Dick" Crall, 90, of 4312 Beechgrove Road, died at 11:53 a.m. Friday at Bucyrus Community Hospital after a short illness.
He was born in Marengo to Edward J. and Emma R (Schieber) Crall, both deceased. He was married Nov. 22, 1933, to Mabel Spiegel, who survives.
He is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Janet Crall, Donald and Marlene Crall, Larry and Joyce Crall, Lyle and Diana Crall, all of Bucyrus, and James and Sue Crall of Iowa; 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Crall, and two sisters, Lois Brewer and Barbara Linn.
A lifetime resident of the area, he was a 1932 graduate of Holmes Liberty School and had farmed his lifetime. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and a lifetime member and past treasurer of Scioto United Methodist Church. He was a former member and trustee of Liberty Township.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 2:30 p.m. service Thursday at Scioto United Methodist Church with Pastor Renae Meggitt officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Scioto United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
