Mabel A. Crall, 89, of 4312 Beechgrove Road, died at 6:35 a.m. Thursday at Fairview Manor. She had been declining in health.
She was born in Bucyrus to Charles "Ed" and Blanche (Downing) Spiegel; both deceased. She was married Nov. 22, 1933, to Richard S. "Dick" Crall. He died March 21, 2003.
She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Janet Crall, Donald and Marlene Crall, all of Bucyrus, James and Sue Crall of Iowa, Larry and Joyce Crall and Lyle and Diana Crall, all of Bucyrus; 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Crall lived in the area her entire life and was a 1931 graduate of Holmes Liberty School. A homemaker, she was a member of the Holmes Liberty Community Club and Scioto United Methodist Church, where she was active with the United Methodist Women and taught Sunday school.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the 2:30 p.m. service Tuesday at Scioto United Methodist Church. Pastor Renae Meggitt will officiate, and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
