Jim Campbell, 95, of Excelsior died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, in Greenwood. He was a retired coal miner and retired from Baldor and attended Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife: Edna; three daughters: Willene Cox of Barling, Allene Vachon, both of Excelsior, Arkansas and Martha Robertson of Ratcliff, Arkansas; two sons: Buddy Campbell of Ozark, Arkansas and Kenneth Campbell of Madisonville, Louisiana; a sister: Lucy Sampley of Altus; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
Funeral service was held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009, at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood.
Pallbearers were: Chris and Tony Campbell, Darren Cox, Billy Brown and Jeff and Mike Vachon.
