NOBLE H. HATFIELD
---Funeral services for Noble H. Hatfield, 74, of Livonia, will be held at 1 p.m., Thurs., Dec 11, 1986, at the Livonia United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry Turner, pastor of the church, officiating.
---Mr. Hatfield died Mon., Dec. 8, at Putnam County Memorial Hospital. Death was attributed to a heart attack which he suffered at his home.
---The son of Jasper Noah and Fredonia (Partin) Hatfield, he was born at Cincinnati, Ia., on Dec. 15, 1911.
---On July 3, 1933, he married Eithel Richmond and to this union, eight children were born.
---On Sept. 25, 1965, at Unionville, he married Bernice Kreiter who survives.
---Also surviving him are four daughters, Charlene Verkuilen and husband, Jerry, of Livonia, Darlene Hatfield and husband, William Hart, of Ottumwa, Ia., Shirley Kohler of Rockford, Ill., and Marilyn Fowler of Yakima, Wash.; two sons, Jerry Hatfield and wife, Sharon, of Numa, Ia., and Lonnie Hatfield and wife, Dorothy, of Yakima, Wash., two daughters-in-law, Sharon Hatfield and Gladys Hatfield, both of Livonia; 24 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Hofstetter and husband, Jim, of Trenton and Esther Henickson of Rockford, Ill.; also one brother, Dale Hatfield, and wife Carlene, of Unionville.
---He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Bob Hatfield and Billy Hatfield; one sister, and three brothers.
---Mr. Hatfield worked in the coal mines in Putnam County in the '40s and '50s and had since retired. He was a member of the Livonia United Methodist Church.
---Interment will be in the McCune Cemetery east of Unionville. Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Kenneth Branscomb, Tony Hatfield, Tim Hatfield, Don Whitehead, Douglas Fowler, and Shannon Yates.
---Services will be under the direction of Comstock Funeral Home in Unionville where visitation will be held this evening (Wednesday) from 6 to 8 p.m.
