John was a very much loved Blues musician born in Woodville Va. He was born on a farm and worked in the area till his 20's and moved to the Fairfax Va. area getting a job on a dairy farm later to become a gravedigger.

He was discovered at the Amoco station in the 60's recording albums and playing all over the world. He played for Jimmy Carter at the White House in 1986.
