Aaron Sewell, father of Conductor J.M. Sewell of this city, died at his home in Roanoke Saturday night at 12 o’clock. He had only been sick a couple of weeks with the grip but his advanced age, over 80, made it much more difficult for him to withstand the ravages of disease. He formerly lived on a farm east of Roanoke but retired some years ago. He was highly respected by all who knew him. The funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10:30 at the M.E. church in Roanoke. Interment at Shanks cemetery.
