Mrs. Mary Polley Died
Mrs. Mary E. Polley, 69 (sic 87), died at the Barlow Nursing Home in Canton yesterday morning (Sept. 23, 1956). She had been a resident of the United Helpers home since 1942 and went to the nursing home about a year ago.
Mrs. Polley was born in Massena Dec. 29, 1886 (sic1868), a daughter of the late Edmund and Polley Benjamin Haverstock. She was married to Warren E. Polley who died about 15 years ago.
The body was brought to the Ramsell-Ewart Funeral home and will be sent to Leominster, Mass., for burial beside her husband in Evergreen Cemetery.
Surviving are two brothers, Fred Haverstock, who resides at St. Joseph's in Ogdensburg, and Lucian Haverstock, White River Junction, Vt., and a sister, Mrs. Florence E. Emery, Leominster, Mass. A grandson in California and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Polley Died Sunday in Canton
Mrs. Mary Haverstock Polley, 87, died Sunday morning Sept. 23, 1956 at the Barlow Nursing Home in Canton, where she had been a patient since last October. She suffered a cerebral hemorrhage about a year ago and had been an invalid since that time.
The body remained at the Ramsdell & Ewart Funeral Home in Ogdensburg until Monday afternoon and was then shipped to Leominster, Mass. where services were held.
Mrs. Polley was born in Massena in 1869, the daughter of Edmond and Polley Haverstock. She was married to Warren Polley of Massena and they lived in Massachusetts where he died several years ago.
Surviving are two brothers, Fred Haverstock, Ogdensburg, and Lucian Haverstock, White River Junction, Vt.; a grandson in California and several nieces and nephews.
