Mrs. Jennette Crankshaw died September 21 [1972] in Fostoria after a 7 month illness. She was 80. Her home was on Center Road, Fostoria where she lived 7 years, having previously resided in Rich Township, Lapeer.
Jennette Johnson was born March 31, 1892 in Lapeer County to Hamilton [Johnson] and Merinda Farnsworth Johnson. She married Harvey Crankshaw March 31, 1910 and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1965. She was a member of the Watertown Center Missionary Church.
Services were held from Blackmore and Tubbs Chapel at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 23. Rev. Thomas Knight officiated and burial was in Watertown Cemetery, Fostoria.
Surviving her are 1 son, Clinton of English Town, N. J.; 6 daughters, Mrs. Harry (Iris) Wing of Fostoria, Mrs. Harry (Lorna) Kukes of Brown City, Mrs. Robert (Berneice) Bader of Mayville, Mrs. Wm.(Vera) Cunningham of Imlay City, Mrs. Guy (Roselyne) Kennedy of Pinkney, and Mrs. Wayne (Marie) Gardner of Wayne; 22 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Florence Harvey of Otter Lake and 2 brothers, Bud Johnson of Fostoria and Tommy Johnson of New York.
