Jane Coburn, daughter of James and Lydia Coburn, was born in 1771 and married Jonas Wheeler ca 1790. Jonas was born on 31 December 1765 in Galway, Saratoga Co., NY, and died in 1825 in Wheeler, Steuben Co., NY. His first wife was Rebecca Maynard who he married on 28 March 1765 in Concord, MA, by whom he had ten children. His second wife was Jane Coburn who he married ca 1790. They lived in Rindge, NH, Wilmington, VT, Galway, NY, Saratoga Co., NY, and Wheeler, NY. After his death, she moved to Lodi Twp., Washtenaw Co., MI, where she died in 1850.

Jane (Coburn) Wheeler was probably living with her son Belina and his family in Lodi Township, Washtenaw Co., Michigan by 1840; the census reports one female aged 70-79. In 1850, she still lived there with her son Belina Wheeler, his wife Malinda, and five children. Malinda was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Saline, then the First Presbyterian Church of Lodi in Lodi Township. This church had disbanded by 1857 and most members had returned to the First Presbyterian Church of Saline. (If church records exist, they could be at the First Presbyterian Church of Saline, the Presbyterian Historical Society in Philadelphia, or the Michigan Historical Collections at the Bentley Historical Library in Ann Arbor.)[1]

Jane's daughter, Jane Olive Wheeler, was born on 3 May 1814 in Wheeler, Steuben, NY, and died on 15 Nov 1881 in Saline, Washtenaw, MI. She married Daniel T. Drake in Saline on 18 Sep 1866. Daniel was born on 6 Sep 1798 in NY or in Pownal, VT, and died on 28 Oct 1880 in Saline. Both Jane Olive (Wheeler) Drake and Daniel T. Drake are buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Saline, with Daniel's first wife, Sally W. Wheeler (4 Aug 1805 Salem, NY - 16 Feb 1851 Saline, MI).
