OBITUARY
Cecelia M. (Mamaux) Clarke, 82, a resident of Sewickley since 1961, formerly of Pittsburgh, died at her residence on Wednesday, April 26, 2006, with her loving husband at her side. She was born March 8, 1924, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Albert E. and Katherine (Lynch) Mamaux. Also preceded in death by her daughter, Caitlin A. Clarke. Cecelia was a lifelong member of the Betty Morrow Reading Club, a member of the Women's Club of Sewickley and The Edgeworth Club, also in Sewickley. Mrs. Clarke was a secretary in two places; the first, back in the 1940s, she was the secretary to the general manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team, and also for 20 years she was a secretary for her husband at his doctor's office in Sewickley, retiring in 1998. Beloved wife for 57 years of Dr. Charles E. Clarke, of Sewickley. Loving mother of Anne Ronce and her husband, David, of San Francisco, Calif., Constance Clarke, of New York, Cecelia Clarke, of Pittsburgh, and Victoria Clarke and her husband, Brian Graham, of Washington, D.C. Sister of David Mamaux, of Painted Post, N.Y., Albert Mamaux, of Pittsburgh, and John Mamaux, of Carlsbad, Calif. Proud grandmother of Devan, Colin and Charles Graham, all of Washington, D.C. No visitation. Burial will be private in Sewickley Cemetery. A memorial Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in St. James Roman Catholic Church.
