BOYCE, JANET— Aged 72, of Jackson, passed away May 10, 2004 at the Faith Haven Senior Care Center. She is survived by three children, Colleen (Thomas) Smigielski, James (Rebecca) Boyce and David (Shari) Boyce, all of Jackson; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three sisters, Ruth Phebus of Texas, Wilma Washburne of Ohio and Frances Henderson of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Colby Boyce and five siblings. Janet was a retiree of and longtime caregiver at the Coleman Foundation in Hudson dedicating her life to the care of handicapped boys and was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. At her request cremation has taken place. A Memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel Thursday, May 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. The family would appreciate any contributions in Janet's memory be made to the Faith Haven Care Center. They have been deeply touched by the love, patience, and caring nature the staff at Faith Haven showed towards their mother.
