The History of Montgomery Co., OH" published by W.H. Beers & Co., 1882, pages 386-387. Abraham obtained his education in a primitive log schoolhouse, married, and had 15 children. Assumption is that 5 had died by 1882. He lived on an 81 acre farm in Defiance Co., OH for 3 years and then moved back to Montgomery Co., OH for the rest of his life. His farm there had 157 acres of land with good buildings and improvements of his own erection. He was a Township Trustee for 3 years. He and his wife were members of the German Baptist Church.
