Anna Reynolds, daughter of Peter and Susan Reynolds, was born at Hagerstown, Maryland June 18, 1850. She married John H. Frey November 6, 1876. They came to Illinois in 1915 and lived on a a farm at Cherry Grove, seven miles north of Lanark and twenty years ago moved with their daughter, Mrs. Martin. Mr. Frey died several years ago. (Actually January 6, 1918, according to the Illinois Statewide Death Index.)
Survivors are four children: Mrs. Iva Sweitzer of Thomson, Mrs. Bessie Martin of Freeport, and Mrs. Martin and Roy Frey of Lanark, fifteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. One daughter and one son preceded her in death.
