Mrs. Arvin Broehm, 64, of R. 2, Brillion, died Wednesday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, following a brief illness. The former Lydia Fredrick, she was born Sept, 24, 1902, in the Town of Rockland, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Frederick. On Oct. 20, 1921, she was married to Arvin Broehm at Forest Junction. The couple farmed at rural Hilbert from 1921 until 1954, when they moved to the Town of Rantoul. Mrs. Broehm was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Potter.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (LaVerne) Pingel of R. 4, Chilton, Mrs. Oscar (Germaine) Bratz of Brillion and Mrs. Paul (Darlene) Schumacher of Kimberly; six sons, Eugene of R. 2 Hilbert, Jerome of R. 2, Brillion, James of Manitowoc, Carlton of Collins, Ronald of R. 2, Reedsville, and Arvin Jr. of Brillion; 24 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Rosner of Forest Junction and Mrs. Lawrence Zirbel of Oconto; and one brother, Emil. She was preceded in death by three sons, one brother and one sister.
