Addias Bergeron Dies in Hospital
Crowley, La. - Addius Bergeron, 62, former resident of Iota, died in the American Legion Hospital in Crowley at 5:50 a.m. today.
Funeral services have been tentatively set for 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. with burial to follow in Frey Cemetery
The body will remain at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home chapel in Iota until the time of rites.
Mr. Bergeron was a resident of Lake Charles at the time of his death. He was born on 8 July 1897 in Iota and was a member of the Iota Knights of Columbus Council.
Survivors include his wife, the former Josie LeJeune; two brothers, Adaus Bergeron of Iota & Exolus "Lulus" Bergeron of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Ozea Marie Bergeron) Schambaugh, Jr. and Mrs. Ostay (Derozia Bergeron) LeJeune of Oberlin.
