Hazel Doege died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at the age of 100. She had been a resident of Elberta since 1932. She was of the Lutheran faith. In her honor, Hazel Doege Day was celebrated July 5, 2009, in Elberta.
She is survived by three sons, Norman Doege and Roger Doege, both of Elberta, and Ronnie Doege of Pensacola; daughter, Joyce Lipscomb of Elberta; sister, Loraine Waling of Michigan; brother, Ted Huesing of Palm Beach, Fla.; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Burial will follow at Elberta Public Cemetery.
Visitation will begins 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home & Crematory.
