Alexander Weaver was a Private during the War of 1812, He was a member of Captain Schweppenheiser's Company, 2nd Brigade, 1st Division, Pennsylvania Militia, in the Service of the United States Under the Command of Colonel John Thompson of the Pennsylvania Volunteers, 4th Military District. The unit was at Camp Marcus Hook, where Brigadier General Thomas Snyder was commanding.
The Kensington Union Burial Grounds at the Methodist Episcopal Church (Old Brick) was disbanded and graves moved without record to several cemeteries including: Hanover Street Burial Grounds, Forest Hills Cemetery, Palmer Burial Grounds or Northwood Cemetery.
