Mr. Joseph Murdoch, an old and well known resident of Perth, died at the house of Mr. Archibald _____ on Saturday last. He was a painter and was somewhat eccentric and miserly in his disposition. By means of a legacy got from the old country, and by extreme habits of thrift, he possessed at his death a wealth amounting to around $27,000, which he left by his will to relatives in the north of Ireland where Mr. Murdoch himself was born.
