Carrie "Camey" Blanding Hall was the daughter of Sarah N. Gordon & Jackson Hall.

Carrie married Charles "Charley" Wesley Burruss .

Carrie and Charley were the proud parents of Willis Gordon Burruss, Eldon Tolbert Burruss, Charles Chester Burruss, Aunt Velva Mae Burruss, and Sarah Juliet "Sug" Burruss.

Carrie died tragically at the age of 53 years in a house fire at her daughter Velva's residence. Carrie's mother Sarah Gordon Hall also died in the fire.
