Ruthanne Hoggatt Presnell, 63, Brazil, passed away at 5:10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at Holly Hills Health Center.
Born March 14, 1944, in Staunton, she was the daughter of Andrew Carl and Mary Irene Lowe Hoggatt.
She was a 1962 graduate of Staunton High School and had lovingly spent the last 16 years as a caregiver.
She very much enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her poodle Fefe, the Pacers and her cabin at Dietz Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brett Presnell; a daughter, Andrea Presnell; a sister and brother-in-law, Jim and Rose Royer; and a brother, Virgil Hoggatt.
Survivors include a daughter,Lori Johnson and husband Steven, Brazil; two brothers, Gerald Hoggatt and wife Agnes, Brazil, and Eldon "Benny" Hoggatt, Staunton; five grandchildren, Scott Andrew Presnell, Dustin Lee Presnell, Josh Cameron Presnell, Alisia Nichole Johnson, and Candace Marie Johnson; nine grandchildren, Landon Joseph Michael Croy, Athena Isabelle Ruth Johnson, Jennessa Lynn Hancock, Jonathon Michael Hancock, Jordan Emerson Hancock, Liberty Michelle Presnell, Kaylee Renee Presnell, Andrea Marie Presnell, and Brittney Lynn Presnell.
Services will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, at Lawson-Miller Chapel, with visitation scheduled from 1 p.m. until time of services.
Burial will be at Clearview Cemetery by French Funeral Home
