Ann Evelyn Esty, 90, of Oak Ridge, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at her home.

She was the widow of Howard I. Esty Sr.

Mrs. Esty is survived by two sons, Howard I. Esty Jr. of Oak Ridge and Richard Earl Esty and his wife, Ruth R. Esty; a sister, Martha Marie Bennett Leslie; and nine grandchildren, John Christopher and Cliff Esty, both of Florida, John Richard Esty of Texas, Jeremy Eli Esty, Merlin Emrys Esty, Gabriel Raven Esty, Amanda Gale Roberts and Maggie Ruth Roberts, all of Oak Ridge, and Jason Bennett Esty and his wife, Karla Esty, of Knoxville.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Debbie Denman of Oak Ridge was considered a special friend.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by another son, John F. Esty.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, in the chapel of Anderson County Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Chris Stephens officiating.

A graveside service will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at the funeral home.
