oy Walter Burleson, age 88, of Bakersville, NC, died November 14, 2004, at his home.
He was the son of the late Chester and Sallie Street Burleson, and a native of Mitchell County, NC. He was a member of Cub Creek Baptist Church, and a supervisor for the North Carolina Highway Department.
He was preceded in death by; wife, Reba Webb Burleson, sisters, Loretta Gosnell, and Irene Murray, brothers, D. H. Burleson, Chester Burleson Jr., and J. B. Burleson.
Survivors include; brother, Homer J. Burleson, several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at Bailey Cemetery.
