GASTONIA - Clevie Beach Capps 92, 2007 S. York Street, died August 14, 1998 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
Funeral is 2 PM Sunday at Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Adkins officiating. Burial in Gaston Memorial Park. Visitation is 7-8:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Ken Beach, Jr., Scott Short,Rickey Hill, Jr., Ronnie Hill, Vic Yager, Johnny Coleman. Honorary pallbearers are Rickey Hill, Sr., Patt Martin, Ken Beach, Sr., Randy Short.
Mrs. Capps was a native of Lincoln County, NC, daughter of the late Eli A. Huffstetler and Virginia Litton Huffstetler. She retired from Greenbriar Rest Home and was a private duty nurse, was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Zernie P. Beach and Ottie A. Capps.
Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Betty Beach & William Martin of Gastonia. She was preceded in death by a son and daughter, Glenn H. Beach, Mabel B. Hill and 9 brothers & sisters; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 1101 Lynnhaven Dr.,Gastonia 28052, Shriners Hospital for Children, Greenville Unit, 950 W.Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
