Ms. Jill (Jones)Holcomb, of Huntington, Arkansas, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009, in a Little Rock hospital. Jill was 33 years old. She was the daughter of Rev. Buster and Kay (Slate)Jones.
Ms. Holcomb was a graduate of Mansfield High School (Class of 1995); a employee of Hanna Oil and Gas and was a member and Youth Director at Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind, Arkansas.
Ms. Holcomb was preceded in death by her grandmother: Marguerite Slate.
She is survived by her husband: Kenny Holcomb; a son: Chaz Holcomb, of the home; a daughter: Chloe Holcomb, also of the home; a sister: Christie Wilson, of Huntington, Arkansas; her
grandparents: Byrem Slate, of Huntington, Arkansas, and James L. and Charlene Jones, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a niece: Madalyn Bonds; a nephew: Garrett Wilson; and many dear friends, former classmates; and other relatives.
Funeral services for Jill were held on Saturday, December 25, 2009, at Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind, Arkansas. She was laid to rest at Hartford Memorial Cemetery in Hartford, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were her former high school classmates: Dr. Brent Silvey and Rev. Marcus Brown; and Shannon Cox, Terry Benton, William Clark, and Jack Wallace.
