Was Pioneer Resident; A Member of Presbyterian Church for 61 Years; Funeral Services Sunday Afternoon.
Just as we go to press comes word that Elijah Long, pioneer resident, passed away, Thursday, June 29, 1939. He was 90 years of age and had been in failing health for some time.
Born in Michigan, he came to White Bear when young. He has been a member of the Presbyterian church for 61 years. For many years he engaged in boat building. He is survived by two daughters, Miss Della and Mrs. W.E. Wood in Rochester, Minn.
Funeral services will be held at Presbyterian church Sunday Afternoon at 2:30 o'clock
