Veteran of the American Revolution, a farmer and blacksmith. He inherited 60 acres of his father's homestead and sold it in 1746 and bought 100 acres from his brother, William. In 1762 he bought back his father's homestead. Lived near Aquetong, Solebury Twp. About 1755 he moved to Harford Co., Maryland. (ref: R. S. Boone, 1991)
