Ornate circa 1918 business card for Grant H. Clay, an African-American physician who practiced dentistry with an emphasis on pediatric dentistry. Said by a relative, the late Susie Byron Price Myers, to be "the first black dentist in Indianapolis." BZS collection

A circa 1920 half-tone photo of Dr. Clay courtesy of The Crisis: A Record of The Darker Races Vol. 27, No. 1, 1923, page 33 which also produced a short obituary.
