Obit: Heinrich Krostag Kiel Record - 1900
Last week Thursday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Krostag, their son Heinrich, died at the young age of 20 years after a short illness due to appendicitis. On Wednesday Dr. Schaper from Kiel and Blocki and Schaper from Sheboygan performed surgery in an attempt to save his life. Convulsions followed and his young life was brought to a quick end. The deceased was employed at the Kiel Woodware Company. The burial took place on Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the Kiel Cemetery with Pastor Roeck from the St. Peter Reformed Church officiating. The Kiel Arion Band played as he was carried to his final resting-place. "Our sympathies to his parents"
