resident since 1986, passed
away at Sierra Health Care
Center on Dec. 18, 2009.
Archie was born in Chloride,
NM on Sept. 4, 1923 to Archie
B. Sloan and the former
Minnie L. (Daniel). Archie
was a retired supervisor for
the City of Milwaukee, was
retired from the United States
Coast Guard and was a member
of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife,
Delores Sloan of TorC; son,
Robert A. Sloan of Elephant
Butte, NM; daughter, Carol
Ann (Ted) Hoff of Oshkosh,
Wisc.; three grandchildren,
Ted Hoff, John Sloan and
Lisa Sloan; two great-grandchildren,
Olivia Hoff and
Connor Hoff; and sisters,
Emma Lee Jaschke and
Alva M. Twombly , both of
Bloomfield, Neb.
Cremation has taken place
and a memorial celebration
service will be held on
Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 at 10
a.m. in the Chapel of Kirikos
Family Funeral Home with
Rev. Charles Stockett officiating.
Interment will follow
in the Vista Memory Gardens
Cemetery.
