Mrs. Helon Lorene Baugh Maples, 80, Athens, died Thursday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be today at 4 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Bill Irby officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Maples was a member of the West Hobbs Street Church of Christ and was active for many years with the Huntsville-Madison County Senior Center.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Baugh and Edward Baugh, both of Athens; a brother, Acey Herman Long Jr. of Hernando, Fla.; four sisters, Ruth Hochstetler of Hernando, Ruby Johnson of Athens, Betty Wallace and Lois Dicks, both of Decatur; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
