Mrs.Beene was born July 31, 1925, in Kerens to Thomas Beasley and Lida Selman Beasley. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the USO Show. She helped in the community whenever they were in need. She was the last surviving child of the Beasley family.
Survivors include her son, James Ray Adams of Morgan Mills; daughters, Sharon Bland and Linda Spicer, both of Corsicana, Garla Reed of Kerens and Susanne Huffman of Mesquite; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Arrangements by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
