Mrs. Pickering was born on March 22, 1904 in Kerens. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oren Pickering; her children; one sister and seven brothers. Mrs. Pickering is survived by her sister, Wanda Beene of Corsicana; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
