MATHIAS.—In the Lost River church, Hardy, W. Va., May 14, 1883, Bro. Jacob
Mathias, aged 82 years.
He had been a faithful member of the church for upward of forty years, but for
several years unable to attend meetings. He was anointed with oil in the name of
the Lord and died in the triumphs of a living faith. Funeral services by Bro. F.
Cline, and J. Schickle, from Rev. 14:12, 13 to a large and sympathizing
congregation.
