Anthony "Tony" Aiola, Sr., 69, formerly of New Orleans, who was relocated to Hixson, due to Hurricane Katrina, died on Saturday, December 31, 2005.
Tony was retired from the New Orleans Parish School Board and was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Aiola; one son, Anthony, Jr.; four daughters, Cheryl Saia, Debbie Cantrell, Betty Mahe and Samantha Aiola; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; four sisters, Sylvia Ingram, Carol Bordelon, Rose Braquet Gowland and Margaret Bordelon; six brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home chapel.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to help with the families final expenses to any Hibernia Bank.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
