Filling, Alma Ruth 79, of Pomona, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2000. She is predeceased by he beloved parents, Judge Louis and Betty Filling and grother Louis Filling, Jr. of Maine.
Alma was the manager of Petries Dress Shoppe of Atlantic City until retiring in 1982. She was a graduate of Egg Harbor High School. Alma was a member of Pomona Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Aux. Miss Filling was a devoted member of the Protestant Church of Pomona.
She is survived by sisters; Edna Sochocky and her husband John of Ventnor, Beatrice Bowden and the late Dell of Pomona, Dorothy Moose and her husband Les of Michigan; her brothers, William Filling of Somers Point, Kenneth Filling and his wife Sue of Somers Point. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.
A Viewing will be held 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM Monday, June 19, 2000 at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City (609-965-0357) where her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona.
