---Gleneva Irene McIntosh, age 76, of La Plata, Missouri passed away Tuesday (May 24, 2005) at the La Plata Nursing Home, La Plata, Missouri.
---Born September 19, 1928 in Newburg, Missouri, she was the daughter of Glen F. and Ruby Irene (Easley) Buck. On December 31, 1958 in Winterhaven, California she married Marvin McIntosh, who preceded her in death.
---Also preceding her in death were her parents, one son, Marvin Lynn McIntosh and a half-brother, Dillon Magers.
---Surviving is one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Verna Buck of La Plata, Missouri, one half-sister, Donna Shelton and husband, Bill of Edgerton, Kansas; one sister-in-law, June Magers of La Plata, Missouri and Ida Lee Curtis of Kirksville, Missouri; nine nieces and nephews, Bobbi Miller and husband, Ron, Mike and Joyce Buck, Eddie and Connie Buck, W.R. and Barbara Buck, Pat and Jim Kirkpatrick, Darin and Jana Magers, Leon and Regina Magers, Greg and Chris Shelton and Debbie and Keith Murry; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
---Irene received her education at the Newburg and Hayes Rural Schools. She lived most of her life in Liberty, Missouri and later the state of California, before making her home with Bobby and Verna Buck in 1995. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in La Plata and a member of the La Plata Baptist Church.
---Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday (May 26, 2005) at the Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Officiating will be Gene Brear. Music will be provided by Janis Mitten playing and singing "One Day At A Time" and "How Great Thou Art".
---Burial will be in the La Plata Cemetery, La Plata, Missouri. Pallbearers will be Mike Buck, Eddie Buck, W.R. Buck, Wes Buck, Brad Buck and Darin Magers.
---Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday (May 24, 2005) at the Travis Funeral Chapel, La Plata, Missouri.
---Expressions of sympathy in memory of Gleneva Irene McIntosh may be made to the La Plata Baptist Church and may be left at or mailed to the Travis Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MO.
