GLEN FOSTER BUCK
---Funeral services for Glen Foster Buck were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Sept. 26, 1983) at the Pollock Funeral Chapel in LaPlata with the Rev. Jim Ingersoll officiating. Burial was in the LaPlata Cemetery.
---Mr. Buck, 84, of Rt. 4, LaPlata died at 5:05 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 24, 1983) in Grim-Smith Hospital where he had been a patient since Sept. 16.
---Born Sept. 18, 1899 in Macon County, he was the son of William Robert and Elizabeth (Nelson) Buck. In June, 1926 in Kirksville, he married Ruby Irene Easley.
---Surviving are a son, Bobby D. Buck of Rt. 4, LaPlata; one daughter, Gleneva Irene McIntosh of El Toro, Calif.; five grandchildren, Patty Kirkpatrick, Bobbi Hamlin, Michael Buck, Eddie Buck and W. R. Buck, and three great-grandchildren.
---He was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Buck, who died in 1963, and one grandson, Marvin Lynn McIntosh, who died in 1975.
---Mr. Buck had lived most of his life west of LaPlata. He farmed and worked for a number of years for the P.E. Jepson Lumber Company in Gifford.
