ELIZABETH BUCK
---Mrs. William Buck, seventy-nine, died on Wednesday of last week at the Kirksville Osteopathic Hospital.
---Funeral services were Saturday at the Gifford church with Rev. Claude Thompson officiating.
---Elizabeth Nelson Buck was born September 22, 1873, the daughter of Henry and Lucinda Nelson, in Adair County, near Gifford.
---At an early age she was united with the Chariton Grove Baptist Church.
---On June 23, 1895 she married William R. Buck. To this marriage was born two sons, Leonard of Melborne, Missouri and Glenn of the home.
---She is also survived by one brother, Ike Nelson, of Gifford; four grandchildren, Willa Lea Meek of Brimson, A-3c William E. Buck, Shepard Air Base, Texas, Bobby Buck of LaCrosse and Irene Buck of Liberty; and two great-grandchildren.
---She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, two brothers and two sisters.
---Mrs. Buck has lived her entire life in and near Gifford with the exception of two years in her son's home in Melbourne.
---McCollum Funeral Home was in charge.
