Born Jan. 2, 1902, in Frostproof, she came to Lake Wales in 1932. She was the owner and operator of Dollie's Beauty Shop. She also owned Dollie's Children's Shop and Park Avenue Dress Shop. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Wales and the Lake Wales Woman's Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Acree. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Anne Kaczorowski, Haines City, and Virginia Acree Noonan, Brandon; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
