Harold E. was a son of Harvey R. and Alta V. Unknown Grossnickle and was the husband of Elizabeth Reedy Grossnickle of Milford, Del. who survives him.

Harold was a graduate of Middletown High School, Class of 1923 in Maryland and attended and graduated from Blue Ridge College and Juniata College , and received his Masters degree from the University of Delaware.

Harold was assistant principal and head of the mathematics department of Bridgeville School. He had been in the teaching profession 27 years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mary Lou and Dorothy Kay Grossnickle, both at home.

He is also survived by one sister, Nellie Doub, Myersville, Md. and one brother, Joseph M., Middletown, Md.

Internment took place in Bridgeville Cemetery.

OBITUARY
Funeral rites were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Bridgeville Episcopal Church, Bridgeville, Del, for Harold E. Grossnickle, who died suddenly of a heart attack at his home at Bridgeville last Thursday.
