Services Held for Andrew Shannon, 76, at Crocker Church
Funeral services for Andrew Shannon, 76, were held Saturday afternoon at the Crocker Baptist Church with Rev. J.S. Blystone officiating. Burial was in the Crocker Cemetery.
Mr. Shannon died in a hospital in Fulton on Tuesday of last week. He was an employee of Hoops & Sons for fifteen years.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home of Crocker.
Andrew Shannon, son of J.C. and Nancy** Shannon, was born in Darke County, Ohio, on Sept. 17, 1875, and passed away on Nov. 20, 1951, at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 3 days.
On November 20, 1902, he was united in marriage to Cora Mae Worth, and to this union, 1 daughter was born. Thirty-two years ago the Shannons moved to Crocker.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Cora Mae, of Crocker; one daughter, Frieda Goodson of Hillsboro, Mo., two sisters, Bessie Peltier of Christainburg, Ohio; and Della Dearduff of Greenville, Ohio; two brothers, Roll of Dayton, Ohio and Art of Union City, Ind.; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
