"Mr. Lopez
Funeral mass for Lupe Lopez, 72, of Lampasas was held Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Adam Martinez officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery. Rosary for Mr. Lopez was conducted Tuesday evening in the Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Chapel.
Mr. Lopez died Sunday in Lampasas Manor Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 12, 1916, in Fredericksburg, he had been a resident of Lampasas County all of his life and was a member of the Catholic Church. He married Nancy Mejia on May 22, 1939.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Lopez of Lampasas; three daughters, Carmen Castaneada of Houston, Carolina Salazar of Lampasas, Ann Mezger of Kempner; three sons, Steve Lopez and Louis Lopez of Lampasas, and Lupe Lopez Jr. of Austin; two sisters, Bessie Gonzales and Pauline Maldonado of Lampasas; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Directors had charge of all arrangements."
