Stephen Carson married his first wife, Julina, in 1818 and moved they moved to Java, Wyoming County, New York the same year. Julina died in March 1846, and Stephen married Mary Bryant in October 1846. They continued to live in Wyoming County until relocating to Hastings, Adams County, Nebraska around 1875.
