DIED--On Wednesday Sept 13th, 1882, Jesse Sidwell. Father Sidwell was born 1775; married in 1818, joined the M.E. Church in 1833, moved from Monongahela County in what is now West Virginia, and the place of his birth to Iowa in the year 1854. He has been a constant member of the church for 40 years; married 61 years, and nearly 88 years of age at the time of his death.
